I do the whole job.
Software engineer in Vancouver, Washington. Four years of production work across aviation data pipelines, full-stack platforms, and accessible consumer products — and a studio for independent practices.
How I got here
Launch School, then two years on aviation data where a silent failure is somebody's flight. That is where I learned to care about monitoring, security findings and the checklist nobody wants to run at 2am — and where I learned that the most valuable thing you can build is often the boring tool that makes a skipped check happen automatically.
After Cirium I went wider rather than deeper: full-stack and operations automation at All Seasons, then a resource-matching platform for the neurodivergent community where the hard problem was a privacy constraint rather than a scaling one. Now it is diagnosis, build and follow-up, all me, for independent healthcare practices.
What I like are problems where the technical work and the business outcome are the same conversation. A pipeline that drops events is a product problem. A site that loads in four seconds is a revenue problem. I would rather own that whole line than hand off at the boundary.
